Vehicle Description
On offer at Jasmine Porschalink is this low-mileage example of a rare 996 GT2 finished in the stunning Lapis blue. Our car is fully HPI clear of any accident damage or outstanding finance. This car has the upgraded factory X50 powerkit on Porsches finely engineered 3.6 twin-turbo flat-six all driven to the back wheels through the six-speed manual transmission. Only covering just 40,500 miles from new this GT2 has recently been subject to a thorough ground-up refurbishment of approximately £16,500. It has an extensive main dealer service history. Unlike most GT2’s this example has never been used on track.
Inside this example with the factory comfort pack you will find the sports seats with original colour coded backrests, leather trimmed seats, clock binnacle & door panels breaking up nicely the all black interior. Sitting on its original 18” Turbo Twist unmarked alloys wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tyres and PCCB this GT2 doesn’t just look the part but is ready for the road ahead!
The bodywork is in an impressive condition & the car drives faultless. The MOT has been carried out on the 1st of October with no advisories.
Our car comes with its original book pack, stamped service book, MOT test certificates, car cover, two keys, and various documents from repairs & servicing history last serviced in April 2022.
A full mechanical refurbishment was also performed, including the removal of the suspension, engine, suspension arms, gearbox and intake system, as well as all of the chassis components, which were removed for powder coating. The car has also had extensive work including replacement brake pipes, clutch, ac condensers, turbo sumps, shock absorbers, ABS sensor, release bearing, wheel bearing, lower arm inner mounts, turbo oil catch tanks and track control arms. All corrosion and seized bolts were replaced. The suspension has been rebuilt, all components were cleaned, waxed and refitted, and the wheels were aligned. DW Performance refurbished both turbo’s and the alternator in June 2019. This really is a special car which is becoming a very rare and desirable classic.
